João brings childlike curiosity — not child-ish, but child-like. The thing inside us all responsible for questioning the status quo and feeling action and reinvention. He moved from Brazil to London to study law and learn how to think. In an age where the only UI that matters is a chat, and the only tool that matters is language, he sensed the shift. He spent years navigating the worlds of investment management as a relentlessly curious technology analyst, before joining one of London’s first AI startups (long before the hype). But what shook him wasn’t the tech. It was watching midlife professionals lose confidence in rooms they used to command. SydeDoor was his response. It’s a rebellion against that erasure. Today, João builds spaces where experience meets edge, and no one is left behind.
